Leon is the seventh out of eight children in the Palmisano family.  He graduated from Santa Clara High School.  He earned a varsity letter for participating on the State Championship Basketball Team.  Leon played football and baseball in high school as well.  Leon continued to play basketball for Santa Barbara City College.  Leon earned his degree at UCLA.  He worked at Pauley Pavilion getting the gymnasium ready for events.  After UCLA, Leon worked on the east coast.  Leon was married in September 2001 to Monica.  We hope that Leon and Monica will be very happy.  They reside in Southern California.  Check out his photos here. click here for Leon's and Monica's webpage at geocities

Leon won over $4,000.00 to pay for his college tuition at UCLA. Leon won the GTE shoot-out contest during UCLA vs. Notre Dame game.  He was picked for the half-time intermission show. Leon made a lay-up, free throw, three pointer, and half court shots within thirty seconds.  Leon was interviewed by the local sports station.  He is a real ham!

Leon and Monica are to be wed in September 2001.  Congratulations to you both!

Leon's first love.  Max is a black lab mixed.  Leon got Max for a Christmas present in 1988.

Leon played basketball at Santa Barbara City College.  He played the 1 and 2 guard positions.  Leon has excellent hands and  also can shoot the 3 pointer.
