While at St. Bonaventure high School, Dina earned 9 Varsity letters in basketball, softball, cheer leading and track.  Dina was also a member of CFS and on the Honor Roll.
Dina was a starting basketball player for 4 years, was a team captain, holds several school records and led her team in scoring, rebounding, steals and free-throws made and attempted.  Named Tri-Valley Honorable Mention All League in 1978; First Team All League in 1979 & 1980; Ventura County All-County All Star Team and Ventura County All-County Team in 1980.  In addition, Dina was the team MVP in 1979 and 1980.
As a softball player Dina played second base, was a starter, team captain and team MVP.  In 1978 Dina was named to the Tri-Valley All League team and Tri-Valley First Team All-League Team in 1979 and 1980.
Dina participated in  Varsity Cheer leading in 1980.
Dina also received honors in Lifestyle, English, Student Athlete and Scholastic Performance.  She was named the Kiwanis Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1980.
After Graduating from high school Dina attended Ventura College and was a starting forward.  She received several awards and was named All WSC First team in 1981 and 1982.  From there Dina went to Sonoma State University and again played basketball and was a team captain.  She was named Nor Cal All League First Team in 1982 and 1984.  Dina received her Bachelor of Arts history/Physical Education from Sonoma State in 1984 and a Master of Science degree from California State University Northridge in 1991.
Dina is currently an assistant women's basketball coach at Moorpark College and has 28 years of coaching experience.  Dina resides in Southern California with her husband and three children.
